October 29th

In this class, we started off with Mr Paterson talking about Mapping the room. At first I didn’t know what was “ Mapping the room” means, but when he made an example, I thought it was really interesting because he used all the space and at the same time, he separated the room into 3 parts, and each part of the room, he chose a topic and talk about topic only in the space he chose. I thought this was really amazing because After he talked about “Mapping the room”, we had time for improve our presentation slides, websites and other things. We first watched a video as a team because we got a feedback that we should watch it as a team so that the other teammates will notice different things and I could notice something that my other teammates did well and also find something they should have done. October 28th

Same as the previous class, Mr Paterson continued giving each groups a deep feedbacks about the presentation. While he does that, my group watches a video of our presentation because I forgot to send them the video and they had to watch it during the class. After that, we I was looking at our presentation and our websites and tried to find things we need to improve. However, what I thought is that I want to change things after we get feedback because I don’t want to change anything that doesn’t need to be changed, and also, I thought that there are more places to improve and we just don’t notice it. After the first group got the feedback, it was our turn to get the feedback. When I got the feedback from Mr Paterson, I kind of thought the same thing as what he was saying like the time I spoke was too short, and also I kept my had together and not releasing it. However, when he talked about the slides of the solution and conclusion, I finally noticed what was bad about the presentation...

October 21st

In this lesson, Mr Paterson continued to give each group more detailed feedback about the presentation, and while he does that, the rest of the teams including us was doing what we need to be doing.  For example, improving our presentation, improving the websites and so on. What we did is improve our websites more.  In our websites, we were supposed to put all three section's information on one page. However, we separated all three sections in three pages so we thought we will have to change that, and also, I personally thought that we should put the infographic on the same page with the information about what we talked about in our presentation. However, there were also somethings we need to improve in our presentation we couldn't improve in this class which we should improve. October 15th

In the first half of this class,  I watched the last presentation from group 1. I thought the information was good, and the problems they find is true. However, I think the way they deliver was not that good. For example, they didn't really have the eye contact to us, and also they hesitated a lot and I sometimes couldn't really hear what they are saying, so I couldn't ask questions. The second half of this class, Mr Paterson gave feedbacks to some groups with their grade for the presentation. While Mr Paterson was giving feedbacks, the rest of the people were doing to blog because there are many people who do the blog after 3 days have passed. Mostly, do the blog on time, but sometimes I forget to do it and do it after 3 days have passed so I think I have to fix that and from now on, I will write the blog within 3 days. Today, there wasn't any time for my group to get the feedback, but I believe we will get it in tomorrow's lesson, and until tomorrow's less...

October 8th

In this lesson, two of the groups presented. Our group already presented so now our job is to listen to the other groups and get ready for the question to ask when it comes to the question time. One thing I thought about when I was listening to other people’s presentation is that many people talked about how inconvenient the things in the school is. However, some small things are different, and I thought that was a bit interesting. For the first presentation, I thought the projected part was interesting when they talked about the reasons why we get sleepy when the teachers are using the projector. I thought this was interesting because even I get sleepy when the teachers use the projectors and I always thought why we get so sleepy. What was most interesting was that one of the reason we get sleepy is the size of the projectors in the home room class. October 7th

In this lesson, we continued doing our presentation. Our group went first for the presentation, and 1 other group went after us. For our presentation, my thoughts of my presentation are that we were able to speak more confident than the last time. In particular, I  think I was able to use body language and also, I was able to communicate with the audience. One thing we need to improve on is to add some proves using the information that the problem was actually solved so that it is more convincing to the audience, and also, if we research more, we were able to answer the questions smoothly. Then the next group did the presentation. In their presentation, I thought that they also didn't have the proves from the past. However, I think finding prove is really hard to do because if there is only one or two, then it is almost impossible for us to find it. The next lesson is just listening to other groups presenting. My goal is to ask questions about all the groups.

October 1st

In this class, we started off with adding each of our role whether it is head, mouth or heart in the shared document. Then we started off doing the presentations. In this class, we were only able to go through 2 groups so my group was not able to present in this class.  When I was watching people’s presentation, I thought most of the thing that they introduced should be improved because it will make this school a better place to learn. For example, one of the idea that I thought was really good was that the schools library should be better so that we can concentrate on our learning more. I thought this was really important because especially lunch break, if we try to work in our home room class, other people are too noisy so we can’t really concentrate. So if there is a place we can concentrate on our work, I think we will get a better day. Next lesson, if we present, I want to at least fix all the mistakes that other group made.
