Today we started off talking about he email that Mr.Paterson got from the student from our class and the student from the other class as well. One of them was talking about how to show the presentation if there were colorblind person. I thought that was a really interesting question because I have never thought of it. I thought that it is important to know because there might be someone color blinded who will see our presentation. Then the rest of the class, we were able to work in our group as it is the last day to prepare as a group before tomorrow which is the presentation day. We were preparing our presentation from before the summer holiday, and we had a lot of time to improve what we need to improve. So I think we should better than the first time we presented. I think we were able to use this time wisely because this was the last time we can meet as a group and prepare for our presentation unless we phone call together and rehearse it today at night.

In this lesson, we first went to the document where we can see which video I have seen from Mr Paterson's youtube channel. I have watched a few video during the first term and in the summer holidays, but I haven't seen all 14 videos which talk about the tips for the presentation. So I thought this was good document for me to be able to know which video I have seen and which video I have not seen. In this class, we were able to watch the videos so I chose the video I have not seen. I thought it was really useful because obviously, we still have many things to improve in our presentation and if we use things that were said in the video, I think our presentation will be much better than before. We still haven't really finished our website so I would like to finish it and also at the same time, I want the presentation to be much better than before, and the way we give the presentation to the audience will be better than before.

In this class, we made a website. We started off by learning how to make a website. At first, I thought it was going to be difficult and complicated to make a website, but when I made it, it was really simple and easy for us to make a website. Then we made a website as our presentation groups to make a website about our title and put some information which we couldn't include in our presentation. We were able to make some pages on the website and think of what we are going to write in those pages. In the next lesson, I think we will continue making our group's website so I want to make sure to finish it by that time, and if we can't, we are planning to meet up and do it to finish it as a group. We are also planning to meet up for practising our presentation as the presentation day is coming soon. Today we started off talking a little bit about plagiarism. Plagiarism is when you use someone else's idea and say that it is your information. After we talked a little bit, we then searched about plagiarism. We searched for plagiarism that mostly happened in Japanese schools. Then we searched about our own topic for the other team. I've heard of the word plagiarism and knew the meaning. However, I haven't searched for the examples and I was surprised when I saw so many websites which talked about the people who plagiarised, but I was more surprised that there was a lot of people in Japanese school who plagiarised. I learned that there are still plagiarism happening which should not be happening because it is a bad thing to steal ideas from someone else.  The second task we did is where we still think about plagiarism and search for the topic we chose for the presentation. In the past 3 months, we have been learning about how we present our presentation in front of the audience with confidence. In the past, I hated presentations because I always get nervous when I go in front of the audience. However, after taking Mr Paterson's lesson for 3 months, I think I was able to get used to presentation a little bit.  In the past 2 months, I was with a group with Akie and Kei for making our presentation talking about where we should change in the school. We did time allocation talking about we should have more time in recess, homework and vacation. I was in charge of the vacation. I talked about what kind of problem there is if the vacation is too short. I said we have less time with our family, lest time resting and less time of freedom. I chose these problems because these are all really important to keep our body healthy. In this class, we did our presentation and another presentation where when they present, one of the teammates was absent. One good thing I thought about my own presentation is that we had a proper beginning where the first person introduces us and talk about how long we spent doing this presentation. Something I thought I did well is to keep eye contact with the audiences most of the time. This was a bit challenging for me in the previous when I do a presentation because when I look at the audience, I usually forget what I need to say. However, something I thought we didn't so good is when we were answering the audience's question. This is because we didn't know how to answer which means we need to research a bit more and always have our own thinking because most of the question we were asked was about our thoughts about the problems. This class was the second day presenting our presentations. Today wasn't able to present again, and the reason for that is because we forgot to share our presentation. We thought this was one of our reflection points because we could have presented this lesson, and also, we wasted the other team's time of presenting which end up doing the presentation over time. I thought for the next lesson, we should be prepared perfectly because we have been seeing other teams getting caught about how they present. For example, we should have eye contact all the time with the audience. One other thing that is important is to make sure that we tell the audience how much time we put on this presentation.  We have about 1 week to prepare, so I think we could meet up and practice more as a group so that we all know what we are saying in our own part, and not hesitate.
