In this lesson, we learned about flipgrid. I think it is useful for us to see how we are speaking and how I need to improve and entertain the audience more. When I first heard about the flipgrid, I thought I will hesitate a bit to upload myself but I want to be able to do it so that I could do the presentation much better in semester 2. I also want to be able to improve the essay and the presentation slides because there are lots of parts I need to improve. For the next lesson, I will be working on the essay a bit before the summer holiday so that in the summer holiday, there are more time to practice my presentation.

This lesson was the first lesson after our essays were graded. In my essay, there were a lot of parts I need to improve more. For example, there were parts where I had spelling mistakes, and also what I do many times is repeating the same words at the start of the sentence more than two times. What I think I need to do more is to have a peer check and also check by my self more because some of the mistakes that were mentioned was a mistake that I wouldn't make if I had a peer check and check by my self word by words. We have lots of time to improve the essays until next time when we submit. So I want to make sure I have fixed everything and be able to submit a better essay than this time.

In this lesson, we were able to have time to work on our own things. What I did today is to work on my essay and try to make the percentage as small as possible. I thought I also need to learn a bit more about the citing because I wasn't really sure if we need to put the cite's title. I also helped the people around me like looking at the essay by doing a spell check and grammar check. I wasn't able to finish reading through the essay and check whether I could understand the essay. When I was checking other, I thought I also want others to check my essay. For the next lesson, I want to work on a bit on my book review terms and hand it on time next Tuesday.

In this lesson, we talked about the website called Turnitin. I have used this in my previous school for different subject and I thought that it is useful for the teachers and also as a student, it is a really useful website because we can see if we used information from other websites. When I submitted my essay for a trial, it was 13 percent including the reference and I thought this was a bit high so for a solution, I could change the words to my own words saying the same thing or I could cite it. Others are the words that everyone uses so I think I don't really care about that. In the next lesson, I want to work on this improvement and also work on my essay and presentations so that I could make as much better as possible.

At the start of the class, When Mr. Paterson talked about the people who presented that was really good at it. When I heard that, I thought I want to make sure I can get as close as possible. The rest of the class, we were able to work on our presentation and what I did in this class, I made the section 1 slides and the summery slide. It was really difficult to find a word that describes what I am saying in that presentation so I needed to have time to think about that. However, the rest of them, I think it is going smoothly. I think the presentation is due next Friday, so until the next lesson I want to be able to finish the presentation and the rest of the day, I want to work on improving my presentation.

In this class, I was able to know different types of sites that can check my paragraphs. I personally thought that it was easy to use and tells me lots of important things about my paragraph so I thought I should use it. Rest of the class we were able to work on our presentation. I worked on making my presentation. For example, putting pictures, writing the words, and so on. I also worked on getting more information to add to the presentation. In the next lesson, I am going to work more on my presentation and by next Tuesday, I want to be able to finish my presentation.
