My Blog

In this lesson, I did the last minute check. I checked if I finished the website. If I’ve put all the information I need to have. I also checked if I shared my document so that everyone can see it, and ask someone else to go into my documents and see if they can open it. I also wrote the blog I haven’t wrote. Everything is due in the evening so I will double check.

In November, while other people was getting feedback I was improving my presentation and my book review. My group also worked on the website. For the presentation, I changed my font size. This is because my font size was all random and some normal text was bigger than my subtitle so I had to change that. I also changed the picture I used in my presentation. This is because I was using both real-life picture and animation picture so I changed some picture so that I am using only one style. I also added some words because some of my slides didn’t have words. For my book review, I changed things that was pointed in the feedback in turn it in. I also final checked my grammar and my spelling. This month, other than improving, we made our website in a team of three about our book. We included something about the author, about ourselves, book review, the movie trailer, and other books that the author published. Refection There were a lot of things I needed to improve for the next presentation. These are the things I do understand I need to do but difficult for me to do it during the presentation so I am going to think more and make sure I could do as much as possible in the next presentation. The first bad thing I found is that I wasn't moving around the class. When I was talking, I should have walked around the class so that I don't hide behind the desk. The second thing is hesitation. This just means that I need more practice even though I thought it was enough before the presentation. The third is that I had a small voice. This shows that I was nervous and also because of this, I think the people that were far away from me, was very bored. The fourth is that I was sometimes touching hair. This will distract me and also the audience so I shouldn't have done it. The fifth is that I always had my sleeve down which shows that I am so nervous. The sixth is that I sometimes looked at...

 In this class, we continued doing the presentation. The first presentation was about a book called "Matilda". The second presentation was about "Wonder". The third presentation was about "Lion a long way home", and the last presentation we did today was about "The history of love".  As I was looking at other people's presentations, I realized there were a lot of people who were looking at the screen a lot. Also, there were people who hesitated a lot and the audience looked a bit bored because it takes time to explain one thing and take a long time in one slide. However, overall these are all the things I need to improve as well and there should be more improvement I need to make. So from now on, my goal is to find all the mistakes I made during my presentation and not do the same thing again.  In this class, I was watching the other people's presentations and at the same time, I also did my presentation.  As I was presenting, I sometimes forgot what I needed to say even though I practiced many times at home and I think that was because I was really nervous. At home, I practiced more than 10 times, and also as I walk to school, I always say it in my mind but when it comes to the presentation day, I always get nervous and hesitate a lot. So I thought I need to practice more and more time like about 20 to 30 times so that I will be more confident about what I am going to say. From now on, I am just going to watch other people's presentation and I thought I want to learn more from other people especially who does a good presentation. I will also have to work on the website about my book.
